Center for Faith and Life, Main Hall
Heralded for their “impeccable musicality and pure-voiced precision” (Boston Globe), the nine women of the Lorelei Ensemble, led by Luther alumna Beth Willer ’03, reinvent early music of the medieval, Renaissance, and baroque periods to create new works that reveal the extraordinary flexibility and strength of the human voice. Expect a night of rich, sonorous sound from the choir the New York Times calls “warm, lithe, and beautifully blended.”
Center Stage Dinner Series
To start, a blood orange salad with spice-roasted walnuts and chevre, served with a warm baguette. For an entree, citrus-herb-roasted cod over braised carrots and parsnips with a sweet pea puree, finished with carrot and parsnip jus and pea shoots, or a red quinoa cake (V). For dessert, a lemon-cream tart with blueberry swirl and whipped cream.
