Center for Faith and Life, Main HallWho owns life? Seeds is a dramatic reenactment of the seven-year legal battle between Saskatchewan farmer Percy Schmeiser and the multinational biotech corporation Monsanto Inc. While debates about genetically modified organisms are multiplying everywhere, life-changing experiments are being conducted in the food we eat. This documentary play leads us through a suspenseful labyrinth of legal conflicts around patent rights, scientific debates about genetically modified food, and property clashes between farmers and the biotech industry.
